Tour the island of Martinique, sight see and shop downtown Fort De France. Visit St. Pierre, a seaside city burned out during
the 1904 volcanic eruption of Mt. Pelee. Enjoy a locally prepared lunch and travel high into the lush green mountains.Sunday - June 18
After breakfast we set sail for the picturesque village of Marigot, St. Lucia. Here we are met by our driver for an overland drive to
the town of Soufriere. Enjoy the botanical gardens and drive into a live crater, seeing sulfur springs steaming from the depths of the earth. We stay tonight and tomorrow night at the Hummingbird
Beach Resort. The famous Pitons are viewed from your balcony.
Monday - June 19
A Lazy Day! Sleep in this morning, or wake up early with the fishermen who will be tending to their seine nets. Plan a dive or
hike to the Pitons, walk around the picturesque village - or just vegg on the beach. Today you are actually living the life that you see portrayed in the postcards!
Tuesday - June 20
It's up early for breakfast because today we are sailing south to St. Vincent. We'll scoot across the passage and travel the coast down to Young Island. Expect to
see schools of friendly porpoise and maybe even a few whales! Tonight we dine at a small local restaurant on the water's edge.
Wednesday - June 21
Today a tour of St. Vincent is planned and we will stop to shop in downtown Kingstown. Some may opt to laze around the hotel's pool. In the early afternoon we sail to Bequia, tossing the
anchor in Admiralty Bay. Tonight we enjoy the ambiance at the Frangipani Beach Hotel.
Thursday - June 22
Enjoy a morning walk along the beach path around Port Elizabeth.
There are unique gifts to purchase and many interesting sights. Spirit departs Bequia at high noon, headed South for Canouan and a small, very French, beach resort.
Friday - June 23
Snorkeling the famous Tobago Cays! After breakfast the group will head to the barrier reef and anchor up for our snorkeling adventure. In the late afternoon we pull into Union Island and by
nightfall we are enjoying the "Native Show" at Lambi's. An excellent day in Paradise!
