Christmas Cove lies just a few miles offshore of St. Thomas, offering a calm lee for snorkeling activities.
This is a ‘must do’ excursion if you are a water lover who wants the best in Caribbean sailing and snorkeling. The sail to Christmas Cove is aboard the 76’ catamaran 'Spirit of St. Christopher', a stable vessel that was built to race across the Atlantic.
 Guests are met shipside or at a central island location (hotel guest) and are whisked via island transportation to a nearby marina.
 Enjoy the smooth one-hour sail out to the uninhabited island of Great St. James and jump into the turquoise waters for one hour and fifteen minutes of pure swimming and snorkeling pleasure. Christmas Cove is a protected marine sanctuary and  you’ll see lots of fish, turtles and friendly stingrays. If you are a good swimmer, you can dive off the vessel and make a beeline to the snorkeling grounds! The crew will also offer to transport you ashore where you can peer at the colorful fish in depths that you can stand up in. Even the non-swimmers will love the sailing and relaxation found on this excursion. This is a popular activity that can be enjoyed by all ages.
